We are seeking Silent Auction DonationsWe encourage you to consider making a donation to the JuliaCDKL5 fundraising gala on May 5th at the Richmond Hill Country Club. All proceeds from the Silent Auction go towards helping fund CDKL5 "Find a Cure" and the therapies and medicine for a little girl named Julia in our community who has CDKL5. Participating in our silent auction will provide you with first-rate exposure and valuable public relations opportunities. It is also a smart and socially-conscious way to advertise your products or services to a select and high-end target group of business professionals. Julia has been given a very difficult start in life. Children with CDKL5 have daily seizures and severe neuro-developmental impairment. They cannot walk, talk, feed themselves and many are confined to wheelchairs, depend on others for everything. This is Julia's current condition. Many also suffer with scoliosis, visual impairment, sensory issues and gastrointestinal difficulties. However, therapies such as physio, speech, vision, occupational, might improve their condition in some cases. As the disorder was only discovered 10 years ago the government provides little assistance to families whose children have the condition. And many of those families have little health insurance to cover the therapies and the expensive medicines. We are hoping to raise enough funds to donate to both Julia's family and the foundation working towards a cure. Auction Donor Benefits:
